Vulvar veins can be diagnosed clinically, however an ultrasound or a venogram may be helpful in defining the extent of this Vulvar vein problem. The venogram will also help in the diagnosis of pelvic congestion syndrome. Ultrasound for this condition is non-intrusive and there is no need to use an intra-vaginal ultrasound probe.
